Protection
“For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.
Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
who leave the straight paths
to walk in dark ways . . . .” Proverbs 2:10-13

but he who walks in wisdom is kept safe.” Proverbs 28:26

the man who gains understanding,
for she is more profitable than silver
and yields better returns than gold.
She is more precious than rubies;
nothing you desire can compare with her.
Long life is in her right hand;
in her left hand are riches and honor.” Proverbs 3:13-16

“He who gets wisdom loves his own soul;
he who cherishes understanding prospers.” Proverbs 19:8

Her ways are pleasant ways,
and all her paths are peace.” Proverbs 3:13,17

it is to his glory to overlook an offense.” Proverbs 19:11

embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will set a garland of grace on your head
and present you with a crown of splendor.” Proverbs 4:7-9

Power

than ten rulers in a city.” Ecclesiastes 7:19

and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
Proverbs 2:6

all who follow his precepts have good understanding.”
Psalm 111:10

Ask and Believe
“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.” James 1:5 -8

Accept Godly Counsel
“Pride only breeds quarrels,
but wisdom is found in those who take advice.” Proverbs 13:10
